Seniors’ Stories Volume 11 Launch at the State Library of NSW

Members of the audiobooksradio team joined the authors, Members of Parliament, and distinguished speakers at the State Library of NSW to launch Seniors’ Stories: Volume 11.

This anthology by the Department of Communities & Justice (edited by Colleen Parker) shares the stories of 100 senior authors from around NSW. The theme this year was “Then and Now” with tales of Australia from an older era, remembrances of people and places from the past, and reflections on being a senior today.

Maria was included in the morning’s speakers, sharing what an honour it is for us to bring these stories to audio - the oldest form of storytelling!

Attending for the audiobooksradio team were Maria, Project Manager Cristin Kelly, and Project Manager for Community Languages Caroline L George.

The Seniors’ Stories Volume 11 team for audiobooksradio also included -

  • Sound Engineer Martin Gallagher

  • Voice Performers Chloe Schwank, Janine Penfold and David Tredinnick

  • Community language performers Prateek Chatterjee, Karin Eastwood, Elaine Hudson, Shinoj Kalyadan, Anja K Kapelski, Enoch Li, Anushka Mahindapala, Ceejay Singh and Mary Zuppardo
