Audiobook
Pre-Production

We help you adjust your script so that it works better in audio by:

  • Working with you to audio-describe diagrams, tables, graphics, workshop exercises etc.

  • Discussing an managing how to deal with references, quotes, citations, bibliographies, footnotes, pull-out boxes, case studies, appendices

  • Working with you to audio-describe diagrams, tables, graphics, workshop exercises etc.

  • Changing and marking up text to make it 'speakable' (what works beautifully as a printed sentence does not always work as a spoken sentence conveying a thought or feeling. Breathing spaces are important.

  • Advice on the use of special effects and music.

We have developed an online form system that can help you go through your whole manuscript to specify your vision of it 'scene by scene' - and can then advise how to adjust your manuscript in a zoom meeting or online.

How to Speak a Circle

Dr Karen Graham is a highly respected psychologist whose books Accept How You Feel and Mind What You Think have helped many people. One key to their success are the exercises that readers are invited to try, some of which appear as a circle shaped charts in the text. How do you speak a circle? We worked with Dr. Graham to create audio-described versions that carry the listener along the same journey a print reader would have.
