Audiobook Advice and Consultation
Are you wondering where to begin or how to go on with your audiobook project? We can provide a group consultation with any or all of our team (project management, text adjustment, quality control, audio engineering, technical requirements, etc.) to help get you started on your audiobook production project.
Usually up to one hour is all that you will need - we can take you through the process, and provide the right direction.
-
Team consultations over Zoom are a flat fee of $250. We can go through the entire process with you step-by-step and/or provide specific advice about any stage of the audiobook process.
-
If you decide to work with us further, we will deduct your consultation fee from contracted fees.
Authors or publishers: we are happy to schedule a general obligation-free enquiry for full-production of your book free of charge!
A Team Effort

In addition to independent authors, we love working with small publishers. Spinifex Press is a highly respected independent feminist press. They publish Cheryl Adams’ historical novel, Lillian’s Eden, which - clear to all of us - would make a brilliant audiobook. Our team met with publishers Susan Hawthorne and Renate Klein to talk about the process and work out all details of the production of Spinifex’s first audiobook. Cheryl came on board for the entire artistic process, choosing and working closely with narrator Caroline George, who used her skills as a professional actress to voice characters from cheeky children to an eccentric senior. It’s a cracker of an Australian story that we sure are proud of.
